10 Months to the day

Well here we sit almostthe end of 2010 and it's 10 months to the wedding. I have bought all that I can for decor if I don't have enough snowflakes I will make them out of paper lol.... we have booked the tuxes for the guys and boy will they look awsome. We have the wedding bands the invitations are printed just need to address them now....We meet with our DJ in january and we had some pictures taken from out photographer and she is awsome...... I still have a few styrofoam snowflakes to paint and my MOH has a few more flowers to arrange for us. Still working on the wedding list of ppl coming and boy I hate that part..... many ppl have asked if they are coming and I feel thats not right..... my thought is if you are going to come I will ask for your addy lol well until next time I post it might be about a bridal shower or fittings for the lady's OH I forget to say as well my wedding dress is on order and should be here around the week of may 10th can't wait..... blog soon

Decor Time

Well as the christmas season is here it's time Dave and I started to buy decor for the wedding.... So as normal I went scoping out the different dollar stores and found some cool styrofoam snowflakes which I have painted navy blue and silver they look so awsome. I have also found some neat looking tinsle to use on the arch way cant wait for the wedding. lol I will post pics as i take them

flowers for the wedding

Well as you all see I have talked about alot on this blog..... well here I am again lol but this time talking about my flowers.

To start I want to say thanks to my maid of honor for doing all the bouquets for me and the girls and the guys flowers and the parents.I wouldn't be able to get what I am getting if it was for her....

Well to start off I will be getting a red and white mix roses for my bouquet Jo will get the same but just smaller and the other ladies will be getting just red roses.... Dave will have a white rose and the other men will be red.... I am not sure what the parents will be having but I know it will look awesome....

Another center piece

well here i go again not sure on what to use for my wedding so i decied to creat one on my own..... again its stuff form the dollar store and only about 6-8 bucks to make I can't seem to make up my mind lol the first one is really pretty but so is this one lol..... in a way \i wish this wedding was done lol so i can just say there i am married hehe i hope you enjoy the new pics of master piece number 2

if you have any suggestions let me know too i might use em lol

Bridesmaid dress

I have done it

I found the dress for the girls in my wedding. OMG its so pretty and so sliming and oh so perfect for any size person. I can't wait to see the dress in the right colour when they get ordered in. My wedding if finally coming together. i will post a picture of the sample dress of the one I am picking for the gals.

The Center Piece

It took me for ever to figure out the center piece for the wedding. I called in help. Dave's cuz sarah went with me to the dollar store, yes i said the dollar store and we looked at the vases stones and these cool curly stick things i then went and bought spray piant and low and behold we came up with a beautiful master piece. I would like to take a second and say thanks sarah for your awsome idea.

The Wedding Dress

The one thing every bride looks forward to is searching for her perfect gown. Well lucky for me I have found it, and at a awsome price as well. It only took me 3 stored and about 25 dresses to find mine. I went to 2 shops and each time i had someone go with me and of course i had a idea of what i wanted, but of course my friends said that's not what i wanted you want glitter and glame when i really wanted simple and no beading. so of course i have picked 2 dresses 1 from each store and put like 20 bucks on em then went home sat down and looked at pictures of the dress, then it hit me and i said to myself that i was pushed into these gowns. well I decied with all the hectic stuff that happen in oct with my brother passing on oct 14th i decied on oct 21 i was going dress shopping on my own with no one but me. I went to Zena's in my home town and found my dream dress. I foound my simple plain gown that makes me feel like a princess lol. I can't post a picture incase Dave see's my blog lol. I found the best most beautiful gown for a incrediable price of wait for it.......555 beofr taxes yes thats right. now in april i get to go shopping with my brides maids for thier dresses and my mom's dress as well.

The first plans

So the first few plans we started to talk about were the location of the cermony and the reception place. We were undecied about if we wanted a church wedding or not. so we looked into a few places. we looked at different hotels but relized with our income we couldnt afford it. so after about a few days of talking and shopping around we decied to have the wedding cermony at our new church and the reception at one of the legions where we live.
So now decieding on where and when we had to come up with how much the wedding would cost us and we now have come up that all and all it will only cost us at most 5000 bucks which we are completey and whole heartedly love the fact that this wedding will not cost us a arm and leg.

The Beginning

I have started a this blog just to have some fun and note down my journy tomy wedding day.
So here I go. It started on sept 24 2008 when my loving fiancee planned my ever so happy proposal by involing my mom lol. he had her get me out of the house so he could come home shower and get into is suit. from there he wrote on the computer screen "hey babe I am out on the balcony come on out and join me" me being a little stupid I went out thinking he was jsut needing to talk, as i open the door i see him sitting there in the suit with the ring box in front of him. I became very quite and had a smile on my face. then then got up and asked me that magic question "will you marry me?" the funny thing is my answer wasn't the typical yes but i answered "uhhh......YEAH" (like a vally girl would). I was so happy that he asked me and boy does he have great taste in rings lol so pretty.

So the very next day I was sitting infront of a calender looking at dates and bugged and bugged Dave to sit with me and help me pick a day. So after long debates we have come up with our wonderful day which is..... wait for it ....... nov 5 2011. I love the cold and snow so we have come up with a lovely theme "Winter Wonderland". i will be back another day to contuine on with the starting of our plans for you all to read.
